About Us

We have built the gallery program in relative to the fifty-year tradition of this place and its importance in the artistic landscape of Wrocław. Our program is inspired by the principles of the Foto-Medium-Art gallery, which previously existed here in 1977-1996 and was run by Jerzy Olek. We are particularly interested in photography, but our exhibitions often go beyond this medium. We strive to explore and expand the concept of intermediality. We are curious about new artistic attitudes and experiments and aim to support diversity through openness to cooperation with domestic and foreign institutions, artists and curators, sharing ideas and negotiating worlds of values.
