ALL THESE PARADISES…
The first guided tour of the exhibition ALL THESE PARADISES, COMETS AND POLONIAS with artist Kamila Mróz and curator Paweł Bąkowski will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m.
Kamila Mróz, an artist specializing in artistic glass, creating light objects using neon technology and the Plasma Art technique, reaches back to the beginnings of cinema technology, recalling the Crookes tube – a 19th-century invention that indirectly enabled the development of image display technology. The electron stream discovered in these first experiments led to the creation of cathode ray tubes, which were the basis of the first television screens and cinema projectors. Her artistic object is a variation on this groundbreaking discovery – a reminder that cinema begins with light and physics.
Kamila will talk about her work, explaining the complex process of combining exact sciences with artistic vision, the result of which are her light objects. Curator Paweł Bąkowski will present the context of the exhibition and the profiles of all the people taking part in it.
Free admission.
