BADTIME STORIES

This year, we wholeheartedly support the special event as part of Kinomural. BADTIME STORIES is definitely not a continuation of the children’s ritual, here the stories are not for bedtime. This will be great fun for those who like it when art doesn’t ask questions, and for those who like it when it does, but doesn’t give answers. It will be a journey through a series of abstract animations that mix futuristic visions with surreal art and with something else, because… Kinomural joins forces with the Korelacje Festival! The result of this extraordinary collaboration is a unique event: BADTIME STORIES with audio description by authors. Audiovisual works by new media artists will be accompanied by texts written and read by well-known poets and writers. This will not be a typical audio description, but an innovative approach that opens up the world of animation to entirely new artistic interpretations. This combination of new media creators and writers will ensure accessibility for people with visual impairments, while providing a completely new experience for all audiences. Maybe this BADTIME STORIES will not be that scary after all, but the post-screening sleep sequences will be.
