PIN PARK
On Saturday, March 23, we invite you to the last of three concerts as part of the “Winter Showroom” exhibition. The kinoMANUAL duo will perform a double role – they will provide visualizations for the PIN PARK performance, in which Maciek Bączyk also plays alongside Maciek Polak.
PIN PARK’s music is characterized by technological melancholy, strongly referring to the atmosphere of the electronic avant-garde of previous decades. The warm, analog sound and melodies laced with harmonic minimalism bring to mind achievements from the classic period of the krautrock, ambient, IDM and minimal music scenes. What kinoMANUAL and PIN PARK have in common is the use of analog synthesizers, but also more modern designs such as early samplers and the first digital effects. Currently, the duo is promoting their third album “Blind Spot”, the sound of which is largely shaped by Japanese synthesizers at the turn of the 70s and 80s, as well as early instruments and digital reverbs. The band regularly records albums and performs in Poland and abroad. Pin Park concerts are enriched with a visual layer performed live by VJ Aga Jarząb from the kinoMANUAL duo.
