Guided tour of the “Winter Showroom” exhibition

On Friday evening, February 16, there was a guided tour of the “Winter Showroom” exhibition with its creators Aga Jarząb and Maciek Bączyk, and the curator Paweł Bąkowski. The artists talked about each of the works collected at the exhibition – about the technical aspects of building abstract light installations using analog equipment they have collected over the years, what StillFrame Cinema is, and about the importance of chance, experiment and complementing this visual layer with music in their work, which gives meaning to the entire installation.

Curator Paweł Bąkowski, in turn, presented the context and concept of the exhibition in relation to the exhibition program of the gallery and told about how kinoMANUAL’s work combines cinema and photography, reaching to the sources and foundations of both these media – light.

Admission to the tour was free.
