On Saturday, February 10, as part of the “Winter Showroom” exhibition, the gallery hosted a concert by Piotr Kurek, one of the most versatile musicians of the Polish electronic scene, known for his numerous incarnations, great albums, cooperation with many alternative scene musicians and unusual DJ sets.

As Agnieszka Jarząb and Maciek Bączyk from kinoMANUAL say: “When thinking about the Winter Showroom, we decided to design a multi-channel light installation in which what we see was inspired by music that is important to us. During the exhibition, we will change the images in the projectors three times, and each time a new version of the installation will be opened by another concert. Choosing contractors was not difficult. Piotr Kurek’s music has always been extremely inspiring for us and we often listen to it in the studio, composing images from the projectors.

The event was one of three concerts accompanying the exhibition. The person responsible for organizing the music scene is Hubert Kostkiewicz from Discomfort Booking.
